Here’s a little more background on what the Worship Arts Ministry consists of:
The Audio Department provides audio support for all ministry related events throughout the week as well as at weekend worship services. We truly get to be the connecting link between all the ministries and our church family. When we serve as a support to other ministries, we do whatever we can to minimize distraction so that the message can be heard clearly.
The Video Department provides video support for all ministries at Real Life, such as testimony interviews, dramas, special promotions, as well as post production including compositing and editing. Our culture has been greatly influenced by television, movies, and videos, and in the church setting it is a great medium in which to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. Videos are shot both off-site and against our green screen, and edited on site.
The Production Department provides the live video in weekend services, creating a way for God and His Word to be lifted up and seen through the use of technology, making it possible for every person in the auditorium to have a front row experience. We utilize lighting, cameras, computer graphics, producing and directing to pull off what is basically a live TV show 5 times a weekend. It is all aimed at lifting Christ up and giving God the glory. We support and serve all of the speakers and musicians in the services, and provide the tools for them to lead the congregation in praying, teaching, and worshiping the Lord.
The Worship Arts Music Department is responsible for building and training music teams to support weekend services. Our weekend consists of five services per week with one scheduled band. In the Bible, song was a powerful tool used to sing of God’s greatness and love for us.
Judges 5:3 “Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers! I, even I, will sing to the Lord; I will praise the Lord, the God of Israel, in song.”
Psalms 29:2 “Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.”
Music was used to praise and glorify the Lord and lift up His name to all. This is what we strive to do as worship leaders in the weekend services.
Worship teams practice on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:30pm.
