Jim Putman Explains The Story
Jim Putman sits down with Lance Wigton, Communications Pastor, to share the plan for the upcoming ministry year as we pursue The Story and discover your story within God's story.Committing to the Journey
As a church family we are embarking on a 32 week journey through the greatest story ever told. Before we set out on this adventure we are encouraging everyone to make four commitments: Read. Hear. Discuss. Live.Exploring the Story
Our Biblical Education classes, called Exploring the Story, will cover the historical and cultural context of the Bible so God’s entire story can be understood in a deeper and more meaningful manner. Exploring the Story class begins on Sunday, September 14.
Why The Story?
As a church, our desire is to reach the world for Jesus, one person at a time, making disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus. To do this, one needs a strong biblical foundation. So, this next year, we will be on a 32 week chronological journey through the Bible.
The intent is to help our church body understand the Bible more fully and where our individual stories fit into God’s story and plan of redemption. Our hope is that every believer will develop a biblical world view seeing things through the eyes of God, bringing a renewed purpose to their own personal story as well.
